The concepts of political activism, environmental issues, the politics of the body, and the nature of the intersection of those three, have always been influential to her work. Poetry and literary references have been a rich source of inspiration for her working process, as well. While many photographers might claim that, to shoot this piece of cloth is a piece of cake, only Anil Gandhi will tell you "If I'm shooting silk, then it should give the feeling of softness and smoothness of the fabric. " And he then works his magic with the lights and the camera and slowly steps into the realm where mortal photographers only wish to venture into. One cannot say that about many artists in this field. To ma
